The Order of the Dawn is an old and proud order of knights. Their original purpose was to safeguard an ancient and powerful weapon. Over time the sword and its location have been lost to history, the initial goal itself was even unknown by some more recent members. With its objective shrouded their numbers dwindled down to about a dozen members.
In 1492 DR the order was betrayed by one of their own members Aeo’n Ónëa. This betrayal lead to the death all members except for Loric Aloro, Hayden Porter, and Elena and Gareth Hastings. Elena and Gareth were able to recover their allies bodies and take them into hiding. Loric was sent away on a mission prior to the disaster.
