Resourceful spell casters can capture their magic as a snapshot, harnessing its power in a roll of vellum or parchment creating a spell scroll.
Capturing the Magic
Ascribing a spell scroll costs an amount of downtime days and gold. The amount varies based on the level of the spell inscribed. The character must have proficiency in the Arcana skill, and must provide any material components utilized in the casting of the spell. Additionally, the spell must be prepared or among the list of spells known in order to scribe it. If the scroll used holds a cantrip, it is cast as if the caster is first level.
