Player Character

Born in the Shadow Plane, Sauda grew up in a town ruled by a malevolent Umbral Dragon who ruled with an iron claw called Zemeis, Blackheart. His family had the unfortunate luck of being his servants, however they had been secretly attempting to begin an upraising against Zemeis. Even though they can planted the seeds for this upraising, sadly they would not be able to witness that rebellion grow. As they were betrayed, and the cruel ruler would make a wicked example of the family. Left to suffer outside the gates, against the horrors of the land, the family survived as best they could but eventually they succumbed to the environment.

Sauda, would survive due to the teaching of his parents the best he could. But eventually, he has to journey across the plane of death alone for a time. He would eventually stumble across a portal that sent him to the Material Plane, where everything was so much brighter to what he was used too. Lost, confused, and in a plane not his own, he was in a forest one night when he caught the sight of an owl. The owl lead him through the forest, to an open field where he received a gift. The gift of life, in the form of an encampment of hunters and guardians who would take him in and teach him their ways.

After a time, learning and training with these protectors of borders, he would take his leave to explore the world and practice his trade. He would hear of the Portal beyond to a new world, and wishing to test himself, would answer the call.

What adventures await, only time will tell. But one thing is for certain, no matter how far one goes, the Shadow Plane is always a dark reflection of the land. It can never truly be left behind.

After the Hag Hunt

Sauda along his fellow adventurer, Kakkariel, made a deal with the Efreeti, Lord Azar Hacofyre, to be his "property" in order to end his wanton destruction. He is currently enslaved in the Plane of Fire. He awaits and remains hopeful of an eventual rescue from this Plane.

Plane of Fire and Rescue

Sauda and his companion Kakkariel, spent a number of months enslaved in the Plane of Fire, at the palace of Lord Azar Hacofyre (this information has been kept classified). Doing manual labor to assist in the restoration of his home and soon forgotten as the Lord had more important things to do. Sauda and Kakkariel found a way to make ends meet and live until they eventually meet a Salamander Siah, who assistes them with a plan to escape by making contact with First Landing and planning a rescue mission.

The two prisoners would fight, hide and eventually make a daring escape through the palace. Eventually, striking down a water tower to buy themselves enough time to be met by their rescuers; Zinlynndise Imare, Hecret, Bethany Claie and Kayzen. With new Recallers in hand, the two recalled back to safety before they engaged with another Salamander who rode upon a massive lava scorpion.

Now, back home, Sauda is at a crisis from his mistakes and attempts to find a way forward with his Code, make amends his mistakes, and move past the Efreeti Lord whom he freed.

Finding peace by a River

Desert's Belt River

After spending some days back in First Landing, wallowing in self pity and self hatred, Sauda decided to participate in a new adventure, hopefully to get his spirits lifted again. He joined up with some other adventures to name a river just further down the Gozreh's Wellspring, which included himself, Hakuto  the cleric of Nethys, Neithan the monk of the mountain, Husk the druid of water, and Peter Kitsuné a ranger with his wolf companion Akira. They journeyed for a few days up the coast of Sunset Sea and came across and battled some sneaky giant crabs, a Haunted building in the Silent Forest and fought through Div's, a type of FiendUnknown from Abaddon. After overcoming all of this, they finally found peace on their final night where Sauda was able to gain some confidence back and move past his internalized hatred of Lord Azar Hacofyre, decide it was time to remove the branding on his cheek.

The Screaming King and aftermath of a death

Well, this trip to the sands was an Abyss of a trip. It reminded me of home, my real home from in the Shadows. The Screaming King was... A failed Lich who wished for more, so instead tried to become a mummy. Only would my people think of something as horrible. He has fallen, thank Lord Tanagaar. With the help of Hakuto, Neithan, Tuesday and Draco, who left before the quest was done because of the curse he got. His sarcophagus was returned to the Guild, and let them hope he does not awake again.

When I returned to The Verdant Call, I was greeted to the cabin being destroyed and a lizardfolk named Swampy, who has a nasty attitude and for some reason disposition as if he hates everyone who is attempts to be reach out. If that is his case, he will bring ruin and pain to whoever works with him. I meet Zinlynndise Imare mother, her name Aeonre Aeminus, who tricked me into thinking they were sisters. I was eventually told that Lynn had died, but been resurrected. Furthermore, I do not blame the mother doing what she felt was right, returning her daughter from the Boneyard, however, I feel Lynn will not be the same due to her trauma. One can only hope, she does not lose who she once was.

I mourn for the loss of who she once was, and am glad that the Void did not claim the Archdruidess.

Delivery of letters

The Lunar festival will be soon, even thought the moon is cracked... That will have major repercussions. I took a mission to deliver messages to leaders of a refugee camp on the unexplored continent. Seemed simple enough. One good thing of this mission is that I found one of the first people I adventured with to kill the Hag, Archiebald. He is still alive, but seems changed somehow, more bloodthirsty, even for a barbarian. I hope he will be alright, because I need more friends in my corner for... eventually putting an end to Lord Azar Hacofyre.

The mission went well enough, we delivered the letters, I was joined by Archie, Dominique-Baptiste Emanuel, Draco, and Jericho Grimwalker, we helped the refugees with their problem with the republic of goblinoids. We took the Bugbear Commander prisoner back to the camp to face judgement as he surrendered in battle. What becomes of him will be determined by the people.

I would then join Stewart Kristoffen Elric Leonard Leighton Yrwin, Mouse, Neithan and Plova to deliver another mail to Thunderveil to an Orc name Tanni Galespeaker secretly. We decided to go into the keep through the front gates and not hide our intentions. As we had been thought of as strangers, we were escorted away from the populace to a prison in all but name, where we met another Orc named the Skadi's Chosen. We cryptically learned that we had stepped into some sort of political games being played, and now we would have to wait until a later point to deliver our mail.

The next morning, we found ourselves turned into entertainment by the Chosen in some twisted arena battle against creatures. Whatever their game, we defeated the creatures, and eventually we met the one above our lying captor, a veiled Orc named Alara. She led us to a council room where we met the leaders of this group, including Galespeaker. Through performance and the skills of others, we hopefully delivered the mail, and we were free to leave. I feel that this is not the end of this affair, as we might have kicked a hornets nest.

Helping Archie and the annoying Lizardfolk

I joined a quest to assist my friend Archiebald with what was a person matter. I did not expect to meet the Lizardfolk Swampy. It was not a pleasant time to have him come along, however, I did not let it stop me from helping a friend. Apparently, this was about putting an end to some monstrous giant scorpion, which the two others seemed to know more about than I.

All I gathered was that it had to do with something about a family and strength and weakness, but at the end, it was a monster hunting quest. It did not take long to find it as it was in the desert, we tracked it without much hassle. The fight could have gone better, but we ended up putting it down. We left without much fanfare after that.

I was continually called out by the Lizardfolk, and I finally decided to meet him in the arena. I finally learned why he hates me so much, in his mind he thinks I disrespected some person named Darkstone. He apparently also died around the same time Zinlynndise Imare did, if the reports are accurate. Whatever the case, he has a stick up his ass if he thinks I will let myself be his punching bag for not knowing his sadness, but some of us are not mind readers and I owe him nothing. I entertained him for a bit, but decided to leave the fight mid-battle, as I made my point, he never touched me while I hit him. Let that eat at him.

Fashion with a Succubus, and demon incursion

Well, this was a shitshow that is beyond me. It started off with a report of demon circles in a village on the Iron Front. Soon, we discovered a lot more happening. Apparently, a succubus had infiltrated a town of Catfolk and was enthralling its people in order to drag them into the lower planes. In order to stop her, myself and my team Tara Tula, Ash, Mirarim and Archiebald (who left early), had to participate in a fashion show contest, the succubus gave us a weak to prepare. During that time, we gathered material and stopped many of the Succubus's subordinates actions of hurting the people. Eventually, we beat her at her own contest and won the freedom of the people. We ended up killing the demoness and, with the returned home.

The Dungeon and Blessings from above

Experienced the dungeon which was made for Baphomet the Demon Lord, stuffed happened to Archie and needs to be helped, fought beings from the plane of Fire and renewed my conviction to stop outsider influence. Was blessed with a celestial gift from my Lord, the Aurulent Eye.

Hunting in a Forest, Corrupt monkeys found

went hunting with Archiebald he is changing. Alongside Neithan, Tara Tula and others, we came across a Fey who tasked us with stopping a monkey fiend that was corrupting a section of a forest. After a hard fought battle. We put it down.

Testing the Arena for the competition. Returning to the Springs

Assisted those who prep for the Annual Lunar Festival. It was an experience.

Heading back to the Aburayan Springs... What shall I discover? What have my actions caused.
