The Eight is a journal supposedly written by Maliel which details the adventures of The Circle of the Eight while they were still mortal. It is currently in the possession of Sherwyn Holt.

If it's to be believed it details the construction of the Staff of Law and even speaks of the The Demonic Lords of Tor'Dath when they once walked upon the mortal plane, it would seem the Magic in Tor'Dath somehow worked differently as well compared to how it works these days.

The writing is worn with age, but it's possible to decipher and reconstruct the text.
