The Imperial Watch serve as a police force for the entire city, with a little help from the Vigilants. It's well known that there is corruption within the ranks of the Watch, and their presence is obviously more predominantly in the higher class neighborhoods and places of high economic activity. It's unclear if it's harder for the Watch to keep order in the more crime-ridden neighborhoods, or if they simply don't care. Some locals refer to them as "silvertops" for the helms they wear. |
