The Great Palace stands at the top of an impressive stone stairway. It is similar in appearance to the temples of the gods, except that its design emphasizes its civic function. Rather than statues to the gods, the palace is decorated with royal seals and with bronze tablets describing the legal codes of the city.

The Heroes of Thylea will now make their way to The Temple of the Oracle to get answers and to find out their destiny. However, a more urgent reason has also appeared.

After the festivities ended after the events of The Corrupted Boar everyone went to sleep and had the same dream. The Oracle appeared to them and said a few faint words sounding as if she was underwater.

"Help....me"

The Heroes of Thylea made their way with great haste. Knowledgeable Eurytus was able to lead them through The Oldwood without large difficulty and they soon found themselves at The Temple of the Oracle

It's doors sealed and the usual crown of attendants and people hoping to be granted an audience with the the Oracle were missing. Something was quite amiss.

Thankfully, mighty Tryntia knew of a different way to enter the large system of caves and tunnels that made up The Temple of the Oracle and the heroes soon found themselves at an old temple that appeared to have been a temple of Sydon's. Fighting through malevolent steam spirits, animated weapons and soldiers from The Order of Sydon the heroes were able to free the surviving attendants, including Proteus and make their way down to Versi's grotto.

The heroes then rescued the Oracle from the clutches of the witch Heleka, and in the process, they've learned the first portion of what The Fates have in store for them. Now, they must undertake a series of Great Labors in order to prepare for their confrontation with The Ancient Titans. The prophecies can be found in The Prophecy of Versi.

Icarus is King Acastus mount and is the largest Dragon to be still living in Thylea. He is magnificent but obviously kept pampered and spoiled.

This island has been legendary for as long as there have been settlers in Thylea. Some of the Dragonlords landed on this island and came back with stories of animals that were almost divine in stature. These creatures were more beautiful and noble than any others of their kind. That didn’t stop the Dragonlords from hunting them: one golden lion was caught and killed, and its hide was used to make a fabulous magical cloak. While such magnificent beasts have been found on Thylea’s mainland, they have never been seen in the numbers that are reputed to be on this island. For centuries, sailors have sought out the island in hopes of taking the hide of a divine beast and selling it for a king’s ransom in Mytros. None have succeded in finding it or returned to tell the tale. This island is most likely the one mentioned in The Legend of Creation.

"That line of stars to the west is called the Tower of Praxys.  This constellation brings to mind the Titan Hergeron, and his and his unfortunate fate. Once the Lord of Battle, Hergeron challenged Sydon, the Lord of Storms, to a duel.  Sydon had stolen his power their eldest brother Talieus, and Hergeron sought revenge.

But though Hergeron was unmatched in strength and valor, he had no mind for strategy.  He greatly underestimated his younger sibling's newfound strength, and Sydon dealt him a crushing defeat.

As punishment for his failure, Hergeron was cast down and imprisoned in the foundations of Sydon's newly-erected stronghold - the Tower of Praxys.  Hergeron carries the full weight of the tower on his shoulders, and he will continue to do so for all eternity."

Sometimes called Gloom Hounds or Hounds of Hades, these three-headed creatures are bred to be the ultimate guardians. Very few creatures can successfully sneak past a cerebus hound that guards a doorway or treasure.

Cerberus hounds take pride in sniffing out and devouring trespassers. Once they have been set to guard something, they never tire of their charge, even should hundreds of years pass without incident. Most hounds keep piles of their victims' bones as beloved trophies to gnaw on. Although the hound does require sleep, it rarely succumbs to the urge, and only one of its heads sleeps at any given time.

An ancient celebration of the final collection of summer produce, Milk is turned into Cheese, Grapes taken from the vine and turned into wine. The festival is collectively known as "last of the summer". Part of this festival is that those deemed too elderly to pursue a wheel of cheese down the hills form teams to build rickety sleds from reeds and poor wood. They follow after the main chase sat in their sleds, sometimes racing each other.

Also known as Apprentice's Day. Within all the major cities, a huge fair is put on by the various traders, profession and crafting guilds for the purpose of taking on new apprentices. Young people who have come of age can present themselves to their potential masters and learn a trade, particularly those second and third children who are unlikely to inherit a trade from their family.

This is an excerpt from a pamphlet urging the citizens and nobility of Mytros to action against harmful ideas. The author, while their name has been lost in time, seemed to have a particular vexation with how lives were being lost because patently false ideas were allowed to flourish. Due to calling out certain organisations, this pamphlet was sure to have been quite controversial.

... Many such beliefs exist, characterised by their lack of evidence and often, lack of logic. They range from the small, for example, that Goatlings are simply Satyrs playing a really long bloody practical joke, to the grand such as all the Arkenlander Kings being lizard creatures made of fire, to even the downright foolish such as Thylea being shaped like a sphere. But only one among them has had the support and longevity that allowed it to persist for over two hundred years with nary a sliver of proof. That being the one that we will be exploring now.

I talk of course of the idea that all the great wars Between The Kingdom of Aresia and The Kingdom of Mytros have not been for their historically stated reasons but instead are a joint effort by both kingdoms administrative bodies as a method of distracting the population and allow complete hegemony for the two cities. The fact that many, lesser and yet swiftly flourishing kingdoms have been crushed as a side effect of these great conflicts are pointed to as proof. This belief can be found in great numbers among the followers of Sydon and Lutheria with a significant difference. The conspiracy is present of course but its instigators are not generation's of mortal bureaucracies rather the blame in their eyes likes upon The Five Gods. (Mytros forgive me for even writing such)

It's obvious. The five gods directly govern two of the three largest settlements in the land, with the Warlord Pythor in The Kingdom of Estoria and Vallus the all-knowing as the Queen of Mytros. Sure there is no equivelant in Aresia but that would be too obvious so of course there wouldn't be. Many thinkers point out that it would be in Kyrahs conniving style to rule from the shadows, orchestrating this charade. For she may be the Goddess of music but she is also the goddes of trickery.

- An Unnamed source, high in the Temple of Sydon.

While the priesthood of both of the Titan temples disavows this type of misinformation it would not be remiss to say that the orders tolerance for anything that could blacken the name of The Five Gods is a large part why this dangerous theory has persisted for so long. It is with a heavy heart that I recommend that the freedoms of my fellow man are curtailed for far too much blood has been spilt upon the altar of such foolishness.
