The Call of Atropus: Fallen Sun (Chapter 1)

Campaign

Isaiah ventured into a forgotten archive of House Vyshaan, located far beneath a tomb in Neverwinter. He found vast ledgers containing notes related to his family's origin, their relationship to beings of the lower planes, and the Vyshaanite empire. He recovered Gravelock, a powerful magical item, which allows him entry into his family's hidden vaults. He heads next to Neverwinter center, to find a suit of armor that is suitable for ghost possession. He will then be seeking out the next archive. Extended Summary: Isaiah had previously made his way from Waterdeep to Neverwinter, with the aid of an incorporeal spirit that identified itself by the name "Typhon." Upon arriving in Neverwinter, he was instructed to head to the Neverdeath graveyard, which he was told held ancient secrets about his family's bloodline. He headed to the graveyard, and found a secret passage, which led to a very deep cavern that was too big for the space it was in. He suspected it could have been a demiplane of some sort. Isaiah climbed down into the darkness, for what seemed like an impossible amount of time, and eventually found himself in an enormous tomb. Inside, he found a series of pillars with strange markings. He spoke with Typhon, and learned that he would need to find a relic of his own, to ensure his passage in and out of the archives. He "borrowed" the relic of one of his ancestors, Joshua Vyshaan, and made it past a guardian of the tomb. After heading into the most well-hidden parts of the archive, he came across strange documents, unnatural onyx crystals, and a lock that required his own blood. After completing the blood lock, he found a suit of gleaming armor. He read the scrolls in the room, and learned that the item itself was originally designed for Moren Vyshaan, who died before he reached the age of maturity. Isaiah donned the armor, and found that his name had become engraved on the inner right gauntlet. After heading to several more archival rooms, he decided to head out to Neverwinter to find a suitable host for the voice called Typhon
