The Call of Atropus: In Dark Corners/Into The Abyss (Chapter 3)

The party fought a creature of ooze and energy that seemed to feed on arcane magic. For a moment, Orin believed that his fate was sealed, but a stroke of shadowy luck allowed him to break free from its grasp. They destroyed the creature, and found an area that was once used for expeditions, though none seem to have returned. They found a mithril rope and adamantine winch, and Darius began lowering the party into the darkness below-The Underdark. Lily managed to help hold off Hook Horrors that emerged and tried to cut the cable. As the party regrouped in the strange, glowing waters below, approximately 10 miles beneath the surface of Toril, they gazed into the lingering darkness.
