The Call of Atropus: In Dark Corners/Into The Abyss (Chapter 2)

The group awoke to the shouts of Orin as spiders began appearing from every crevice and fissure. They attempted to hold the spiders back, but they knew it would overwhelm them soon. Out of nowhere, an old friend of Orin’s, an exterminator by trade, but an artisan by heart, appeared from the darkness, and disintegrated the spiders, before confronting the party. After making them promise to not make a mess of its home, it let them go. They found an altar to Tiamat, with a number of corpses from sacrifice rituals, as well as evidence that Cultists of Orcus had been here recently, and killed the Dragon Worshippers. With this information, Salem performed a ritual for the dead, and the party investigated the next section of the cavern.
