The wererats of the Goldwhisker Clan are a point of contention among Dorb and Senni Diggermattock. They disagree about what to do. Dorbo wants to get rid of them so that he can recover the House Center he believes is still in the wererats' grasp. Senni argues the wererats are still descendants of Blingdenstone citizens and they deserve to stay there and rejoin their community.
Since the wererats are very territorial and defensive, any attempt to parley has been met with violence. Senni Diggermattock asks the characters to venture into the warrens and talk with whomever is in charge, then to report to her to determine what the next steps should be.
