The party was hired to assist the small town of Frejht as the fiendish creatures returned. The party proceeded over to Scornubel and spoke with Johnathon of the watch and was able to get a bit of information that the fiendish creatures are searching for something. They used various divination spells to gain more information that the Fiends were Devils and being used by someone that goes by the name Him. The party was a bit disturbed by this but continued on. They found a few thugs giving an elderly man a rough time and proceeded to help the old man out. The old man however was sent to disrupt and weaken the party and nearly killed Grimm. The party quickly captured him however. They proceeded to the town and found the same destruction however a bit worse. They dumped the man off into the watch of the town and then proceeded to speak with the mayor. On the way they had to cross a large bridge in which Loric pulled out his book of bridges and began to read off varies bits of history about the bridge and how it was a symbol of the town to protect a treasure. The party then reach the mayor and had a variety of disagreements with her. The party then heard a scream outside coming from the other side of the bridge. They very quickly rushed over and found a figure cloaked in red. The figure which Razia recognized as Him through a previous encounter, called out for the few fiends behind him to deal with the adventurers. Him then left with one of the commoners. The party then had a difficult fight with the fiends but were able to pull through. Although they were unable to find what they were looking for they are prepared for when they inevitably return.
