After rearing and being able to avoid some abyssal corruption through their extended time in the abyss, the party proceeded forward through the abyss. They eventually found the lair and decided to do what they do best and charge head first and just open the door. Very quickly the guards caused a troublesome fight. The party was able to endure having burned many resources up until this point but, they persevered. They quickly downed some potions before continuing and charging head first into the main chamber of the lair. The demon quickly sent his minions ahead as he lumbered forward. The Molydeus quickly tore through Artur and forced his Retreat, leaving Karmen alone to hold them back. Sadly, Karmen decided to duck while the Molydeus swung low. The decision was regreted as she looked and saw her headless body drop to the ground 10 feet from her view. Her soul was then quickly defending it self from the demons attempting to consume it. The rest of the party was quickly sent into a panick as their two main tanks were forced back or laid slain in front of them. This moment of panick was exploited by the demons as they moved in for more kills. The party was able to get their head together and quickly burn the rest of their resources. As things seemed hopeless the party continued moving forward. Eventually they won the war of attrition as Executioner Artur laid true to his title and ended the demon. The party grabbed karmens body and head and put it under gentle repose as Sylgretor began to mend the head back onto the corpse. The party then promptly left the abyss having endured minor corruption from their time spent inside.
