Madam Misty retells of a search for a champion of shieldmeet. The field consisted of the party, and fourty-one challengers, all vying to be the last creature standing. Among the notable faces are Oreste and Artur, Grosh, and some other high profile enemies. When the dust settled, Nanashi, Traeger, and Raen were left standing. After the tense stand off, broken by a flury of attacks, Raen emerges victorious as the Champion of the Grand Melee. Nanashi and Traeger were honored as Contenders of the Grand Melee.
