The forest called Tarndisi’s Grove is about ten kilometers from Clearwine Fort. This ancient mixed forest of oak, beech, pine, and firs is sacred to the goddess Aldrya and inhabited by a small community of Aldryami, brown and green elves. Hunting and logging are strictly forbidden within the boundaries of the grove, although they are permitted in the surrounding woods. A small stand of redwood trees forms the dryad’s actual grove.
Tarndisi the Dryad, the Chief Priestess of Aldrya, rules the grove. She has friendly relations with the Clearwine Earth Temple and accepts offerings from the Ernalda cult. The Shanassee Tree is an ancient sentient redwood tree that dates to the Dawn.
