In roleplaying games, your character's life is measured using Hit Points (or HP). A character's HP is an abstraction of their health, endurance, experience and what can sometimes be described as "plot armor". The options below seek to capitalize on that armor by giving it narrative weight and making them feel less like empty numbers. After all, what is a knife wound when one can just "sleep it off".
