Julana is said to be a spirit created by Balayang following the marriage between Dilga and Ankotarinja out of sheer jealousness. He is an enormous, unsightly beast who is said to borrow beneath the sands of Australia and only emerges to rape women, seeking the most beautiful of all. Julana's acts and the births that result from them are said to be the origin of Oceanyka's many humanoid-like animals and cryptids.
This monster is said to specifically aid manipulators, cultists and tyrants in their efforts to gain total control of a group of persons. Cults of Julana are looked down upon in all of Oceanyka.
