Onyx: A star falls.

Pain. Dull and throbbing. A daze of blurry lines. More pain, sharper this time. Her nose. Probably broken. Shit. The blurred lines clear slightly, and the rookie see's the champ.

And then theres another fist to her face and she's sent reeling backwards. Fuck that smarts. Skidding to a halt, the rookie spits blood, a tooth, damn, to the side and shakes their head, clearing the arcing lightning that dances through their eyes. Back on target, back on focus, just like pops taught ya.

One foot forward, another, keep your arms up, keep moving, start to weave, take another step, throw that first punch. Missed, shit, the champ got their gaurd up, fuck, that's ok, just keep the momentum. Next hit, weave, this one lands, good, again, repeat the motions, just like pops taught you.

Another hit, this one to the guts, the champ drops their gaurd, good. They're big, that's scary, but you're smart, you can use that to your advantage.

Take a step, weave the other way, throw that fourth punch into their side, make em flinch. Duck their arm, punch the same spot, the EXACT same spot. The champ flinches harder, good. Fight smart.

Step on their toes, they're off balance, push em back, they stumble. Now you got em. Duck down, punch their knee, crumple them. They're at face level, throw a haymaker into their face and their DOWN down. You did it. Just like pops taught you.

Onyx Ore, The Brawling Bragart.

Coming from the cities of the old world, she was a young girl when she first saw her idol fight. A gladiator named "Millstone", with an undefeated record. Watching him fight inspired her to take up the sport, learn to brawl.

Her father disapproved, thinking it too violent, but seeing as she kept getting into fights around town, even at her young age, he thought it best to teach her. Onyx didn't know how her father knee what he did, but he taught her well.

By the age of 15 she was brawling in pit fights. By the age of 18 she was in the gladiatorial matches. She went down, she got back up and she fought harder.

At the age of 20 she was being called a star rookie, and she started her career as a celebrity fighter. Still now, at 22, she chases the dream set by her hero, and hopes to make her father proud.

Azar, who was first encountered during Hag Hunt: Heart's Revenge, was a trapped fiery Unknown stuck under the Bathhouse of Aburayan Springs for an unknown but decisively long time. He was used by the Fey for keeping the waters comfortably warm. It's unclear whether his imprisonment was a Fey prank, a show of power, or karmic justice that enslaved a slaver. He couldn't leave the boiler room, since a circle of powerful magic kept him bound to that place and forced him into service.

Sometimes bold (or foolish, or desperate) individuals dared to ask him for wishes

One of them was Veshta, who used her three wishes to protect her anonymity; to compel the Ledaluscas from the Aburayan primal grove to guard the entrance to her lair; and to Fireball the party that was attacking her. She used the Broken Wish, a Relic of Fire and Water in the shape of a golden seashell, to communicate with him from afar; as a result, his fiery magic clung to the object, producing Ember Dust and granting the Minor Gift of Flare Bolt to the Relic.

The other one was Sauda (though this information is kept away from those who didn't participate on that quest), who wished for the Unknown to be put to sleep; and for the party to be healed; and for the Genie to be liberated.

Azar was unleashed by the end of Hag Hunt: Heart's Revenge, and he took out his brewing fury on the Bathhouse, burning it down alongside anyone who was unfortunate enough to linger inside for too long. The more powerful and brave inhabitants and guests of Aburayan Springs, aided by the party, managed to push against this destruction until he negotiated an exchange with Kakkariel and Sauda, claiming them as his slaves and spiriting them away to Elemental Plane of Fire and the City of Brass, leaving the Millennium Forest behind and ending this threat.

During Save the Slave, four brave adventurers managed to infiltrate Azar's palace on the outskirts of the City of Brass, and liberate Kakkariel and Sauda. Before he could confront them, everyone Recalled, leaving him behind to wallow in his fury. His consequent actions and plans are unknown.

An island to the west of the The Shorepines near Watchers' Island. First encountered in Oh That Island. What's Up With That? Features the Dread Citadel, which was apparently a resort of ancient Elves (as shown in the Gwyddfa that was discovered in A Very Merry Hunt).

We arrived about midday or so, sun kinda going down on the other side of the island. And we found quite a strange land, beaches of pure white sand. Above the sands was grassy plains, but the grass looked kinda sickly and grey - really unhealthy looking. Same with the forest at the center of it, hardly much green on them. Poor plants - now that I think about it a druid should tend to them later on, bring life back to the island. But that’s why we called the place the “Blight Rock" for now.

But above all this blighted terrain was this weird building seemingly on the top of a hill overlooking everything. It was weird, so me and Ash decided to venture out all sneaky like while Beth and Sirxus set up camp. It looked like a castle on the outside, but there wasn’t anything around that suggested there were people there. I mean, sure the place was cared for and there was a lamp light on the top floors, but there was no people or active farmland or sound or anything on the outside. It was like, stagnant and still, displaced out of time from the rest of the world? Kinda reminded me of the Embeth Forest, but less fey and more scary.
