Stone Giant

Immortal

Stone Giants are a race of Nephilim who today inhabit various mountaintops and rocky areas. Stone Giants are the most commonly seen of the Giants, as they live closest to the places of the world which are inhabited. Some Stone Giants have mutualistic relationships with neighboring villages and communities. In Nor'kosh'ti, the Stone Giants call themselves the Krohkt'mai-zar, meaning "Stone Walkers."

Stone Giants are the shortest of the true Giants, standing at around twenty feet tall. They are thin and lanky, though not as much as their Cloud Giant kin. They are typically muscular, with well-defined muscles. They have small eyes, which are completely black. They are entirely hairless.

Stone Giants typically herd animal herds in small nomadic tribes. They wear clothing of plant-derived fabrics and animal pelts, though the pelts are taken from animals only after they die, as Stone Giants do not kill their flocks. Besides roughspun clothes, Stone Giants typically adorn themselves with tattoos and metal trinkets which are traded from Beldkind. A typical Stone Giant will often possess various trinkets, medallions, earrings, necklaces, or other ornaments of various metals, collected over the collective history of Mankind.

As they are made of stone (though they are not "real stone" until they petrify upon death), many Stone Giants will forgo tattooing themselves in favor of literally carving symbols, shapes, and runes into their skin in a form of cosmetic scarification.

Stone Giants possess a unique ability to transfer memories via touch. This is often referred to in metaphor as "stones having long memories," though its true cause is unknown.

Stone Giants are gifted in Petramancy.
