Lailari is a Drow, originally of the Umbragen. Many years ago, their entire squad was taken out by a beholder, and Lailari was rescued by the Maruk Ghaash'kala. They now devote their time and energy to maintaining the Ghaash'kala's equipment and crafting magic items. Bit by bit, Lailari pulls their soul away from the darkness of the Umbra and into the light of Kalok Shash.
Lailari is able to pull shadowstuff from the Umbra and create semi-permanent garments with it that dampen sound and bend light, allowing the normally loud and heavy Maruk to move almost silently.
