Session 47: Ashore once more, we Rest then Ride

Player Journal

We've continued sailing northward. It's been a relatively uneventful trip which I'm fine with, being on a ship two days from shore.

I made plans with Woodsworth, and while he distracted Zet with a friendly game of chess I made my way into the surgeon's quarters. I performed several experiments on the crystalizer. It seems to react to desire, and what one gets out of it so far has been directly proportional to the monetary value of what has been fed into it. Perhaps this is why it was capable of covering miles and miles of land in deadly fog being fed gems from a hopper? I'll make sure to keep notes of my findings easily accessible to other members of Fortune's Vanguard, but I still do not trust our hired hands. Perhaps me and Cleis should compare notes sometime?

Several days ago I was awoken by what sounded like a loud thud of a body hitting the deck, and I made my way above to see what was happening. It seemed out esteemed newest member J'ack was engaging the hired hands in (hopefully friendly) sparring matches to sharpen both his combat skills and theirs. Hopefully it helps keep morale up. I've noticed the deckhands grumbling quite a bit since shore leave was cut very short. The twins continue to catch looks and snicker at me when I meet up with Woodsworth. Hilarious, because if I could actually get through to that bun what I'd like him to do to me I certainly wouldn't be hiding it.  ...ok maybe I know why I was gifted with that insulting title.

We eventually made our way close to shore, making plans with Sheldon and the crew to sail further out to sea and meet us back in about 3 days time. We took the Isk Relgr towards shore, and sailed inland by river west of Cheonbuksan. As the river narrowed and began to turn south we came ashore. Folding up the Isk Relgr once more, Woodsworth conjured us shelter for the night. For now we rest, but tomorrow we return where it all began. We return. To Egland.
