Benjamin Berg is a member of the Order of the Dawn. He was abandoned from a young age and lived in the streets for many years. Hayden Porter noticed him one day when he risked his life to save an older lady who was getting robbed on the streets. He managed to subdue his two assailants, tying them up and bringing them to justice. To Porter, it was clear that Benjamin wasn't trained to fight, but his quick wits and agility made him a fierce combatant nevertheless. Because of this good deed, Porter decided to offer him a meal, and after learning more about his life story, his heart ached for the boy. He could tell that he was a kind boy and he was worried him growing up on the streets would turn him into a criminal. He paid him frequent visit, and after talking with Ewan Boldersong, the leader of the Order of the Dawn, he recruited him into the Order, where he would initially do some menial tasks, but be fed and have a roof over his head. As time passed, Berg proved to be much more useful and he decided to become a squire and, take the steps towards one day becoming a knight himself, although his skill set differs from what you would usually expect a knight to be.
