Adzeredish, otherwise known as the Old Land or the Astral Plane, is a timeless and confusing plane unbound by physical laws and logic. The plane encompasses all other planes and permeates through them, and it is possible to travel across planes using Adzeredish as a conduit.

There are many different speculations as to the true nature of Adzeredish, but most scholars agree that a true definition is nearly impossible due to the inherent nature of the plane; it contains extremely high level of dimensionality, and as such, is incomprehensible to mortals of the Material Plane. Beings have been noted to reside here, but their true forms will always elude those who are bound to a singular set of dimensions.

Many models of the multiverse illustrate that Adzeredish is where many of the gods reside, most notably Erudia and Noph, who represent the beginning and end of all things, respectively. Some scholars dispute the existence of Noph, as there is little evidence to support their existence besides some ancient texts, while fewer still denote that there is actually a third primordial god, Paluen, that represents order between all things. Regardless, due to the unbound nature of the Old Land, it is generally agreed that it is one of the few places that the gods can manifest to their fullest extent.

There is evidence to support that there are many powerful creatures and entities that reside in Adzeredish. If you travel to the Astral Plane, keep a steady head, and try not to bring anything terrible back with you.
