For the last decade, Chalinus has been a popular face in Sentran theater, especially at the Gilded Stage. Looking at the older posters on the outside of the theater, Chalinus is listed as the leading man in many previous productions, from The Curse of the Orcs to the still popular play Anointed. It had gotten to the point where no play was shown at the Gilded Stage without Chalinus playing the lead part.

Despite his fame and supposed wealth as a prominent actor, Chalinus and his wife Viola bought a modest home in the Overlook neighborhood.

With the announcement of the new play The Sacrifice of Solarian, a story of the noble death of the hero Solarian, Chalinus was eager for the title role. However, that role instead fell to the upcoming star Kappa Adolus. Chalinus was given the part of Ragor, the orcish comedic relief. This was not a welcome change to Chalinus. This led to the murder of Kappa Adolus, for which Chalinus is currently in prison for.

Chalinus, like many popular figures in the city, had his vices. It's recently come to light that he partook of hallucinogenic Wondercaps, and got his mushrooms from the Hammerfall.
