With the events on Khenarthi's Roost, revolving around the Sea Elf attack on the island and the attention of the Thalmor being brought back to the island, the Mithlasse family thought it unsafe to remain on Khenarthi's Roost, lest their clan be purged. Pledging to work as crew on the two ships that would ferry them and the party away from the island, the group sailed away from the island that had been their home for roughly 150 years.
