Session 87: 7th March 2022 - What a nice guy

Steros’ father Bront was kidnapped by Amazons, and he asks if they will help him to free him, Steros will provide them with items to help them along their journey. He says he cannot help them with their current battle.

Alke and Calliope finish off the last lizard, and disappear back down the tunnel towards the noise. Hippofilius follows on.

Xan, still charmed by Steros, walks over to him and asks him what happened to his father. He says he was taken by the Amazons, and then Steros was summoned to join the LIzardfolk. He mentioned he brought the egg with him, and would prepare this for them when they leave. She asks about other egg Hippofilius saw, but he does not know about this. He seems to not know much about how to defeat the lizards, and only seems distracted by his trinkets.

He shoos Xan away to join her friends in battle, and trusting him, she follows a large polar bear butt squeezing down the cave entrance. As she exits into the open volcano again she sees chaos - vines are enveloping the bridges and huts and her friends are scattered across the opening. Xan rushes over to Calliope’s side and asks her what the plan is, but she doesn’t seem to know.  Stereos told her to help her friends, so she does, in the only way she knows she can.. She aims at a cowering lizard but shoots just short of its feet.

Further across the cavern she sees Helikaon standing unarmed under a larger lizardfolk. Her second aim hits him square on and does enough damage for messing up her first shot.

Xan shoots another arrow out, hitting Jankor but it does;t do much damage to him. 

She turned her head and saw another Salamander approaching her. Surprised, she threw herself to the ground, hiding behind one of the huts, and pleading for mercy - she claims they were attacked. It is unclear if the Salamander believes her.
