Strange Amulets

Effects

This amulet is paired with a controlling parent amulet. The controlling amulet may have multiple children.

Once worn, the wearer must make a DC20 Will Save, or have their mind permanently altered by instantaneous Enchantment/Transmutation magic, this permanent effect may only trigger once per amulet. On a failed save the wearer of this stylish amulet sees it as a valuable and cherished gift. The creature's attitude towards whoever physically gave them this amulet (or nearest person in proximity, failing that) is raised by one step(neutral -> friendly, friendly -> helpful) to the person who gifted this amulet. While the affected creature can take the amulet off, they will only do so when they feel the amulet will not be stolen, damaged, or otherwise taken from them. They might entrust the amulet temporarily to someone, or store it, but generally no longer than a day. The creature will wear this amulet as much as they reasonably can.

This permanent effect can be removed with a Restoration (100 GP) spell.

Additionally, once per week, if this amulet is being worn by a creature who has had their mind altered by it, they can be controlled as per Dominate Person by the creature wearing the master amulet, for one hour. A creature controlled in this manner believes that all actions taken were their own, and does not find any of them suspicious. However, anyone witnessing the creature affected, if the creature acts unlike they normally would, may sense motive to see that the creature is acting unlike themself. The controlling amulet must be within 1 mile for this to take effect.
