The Oracle inhales the vaporous fumes that surround her. She stares into each of your eyes, probing your souls with her penetrating gaze. Some time passes before she speaks. “You all stand here with reasons as varied as the whims of fate. But know this - this is your destiny. And destiny cannot be escaped. Proceed and become legends. And perhaps your reasons will be satisfied in the process.”

You warriors who stand here gathered will be tested. The Fates have revealed three great tasks that must be accomplished before you are ready to sail into the three seas and face the Titans. You must shape the silver fires of the lost forge in order to craft the tools that you will need. You must claim the mighty weapons wielded against the Titans by the first Dragonlord. And you must drink deep from the bottomless dragon horn, for it will reveal a vision that I cannot see. But woe unto thee, for I have seen the end of all things. My father’s anger cannot be quelled, and his sister schemes even now. Your quest may yet fail and, if it should, the sky will rain black fire, and the doom of Thylea will come.”

Versi: "Please, let me receive you, and I shall share with you that which I promised..."

Praxos - The Doomed One

"My condolences for your loss, O' Doomed One. You whose birth was cursed, whose joyous day of coming to the world was spoiled, I can see the torment that has been laid at your feet. I can see you have a part to play in the prophecy. But my sight is clouded with all else. You are like a black void where only lights exist.

Question: "What doom, haunts my destiny, and why did it choose me?"

"My sight is obscured from seeing the perpetrator of your misfortunes. Speak with my sister, Demetria, where she weeps and rages in the Oldwood. She has a connection to that which is fated to be your ultimate doom. I believe that her servants have delivered to her a relic, stolen from your fallen family." While I cannot see the fates that befell your loved ones, I can see their memory clinging to you like so many ghosts. Know that your doom is great but it was not inflicted in anger. I know now the silver light of dawn shielded you from the wrath that so terribly fell upon your family.  Yet they need not haunt you, phantomwise, forever.

Aella - The Dragonslayer

I see your destiny is one bound in blood and glory. You shall be the bane of wicked wyrms that would torment mortals and fae alike and  right the wrong the Amazons committed long ago.

I can see your path will be a treacherous one indeed, but you needn't walk it alone. Two women will aid you by force or friendship.

Question: How do I claim vengeance for my family?

To become this glorious figure, and to right the wrong that was done to you and yours, you must seek out the one trapped in the fires of the great forge. She can provide insight into the weapon that is meant to slay the setting sun. The one who put fire into your kin. In the head of a god, there is a woman. She could offer you either aid or be the first villain to fall to your duly deserved revenge. Be wary. Be warned, only if the Amazons stand by the people of Thylea against the Titans can the Twins be defeated. You must not only exact brutal vengeance but prove your worth. I sense there is something else on your mind. She lives. As all Sirens do in troubled times she has returned to a roost.

Rekken - The Seeker

"I sense distant shores upon you. Your very venture here to these lost lands is an odyssey in and of itself. But your journey has only just begun. I can see you finding a way back home but first I see you as a member of this group, chornilicking their exploits and fighting alongside them. You will need as much  knowledge as possible if you are to achieve your goals. Seek out arrivals to this land such as yourself, many bring boons that could help you to sail back to your home...or stay and become a legend here. Perhaps the trove of the Dragonlords?

Question. Did any of my crew survive? If so, Where can I find them?

A few have survived my ancestor's wrath. Scattered across Thylea, some are in danger and others thrive. To find them you must cross the land from one end to the other. I wish you luck.

Eurytus - The Timeless One

"Cousin, strange cousin, you are an anomaly. Lost to the sands of time, yet returned to Thylea in the here and now. This was fated to be, foreseen by my namesake - your mother, Versi the First. Still, I have seen you fulfil her prophecy, now given to me. For your hand to guide Thylea's new dawn, you must seek out the Hand of Kentimane that sleeps in the heart of the Oldwood and take it to the Island of the Golden Heart. There, you shall commune with our grandmother, Thylea herself."

Question. What happened when I was sent away?

I wish I could say what happened to her, cousin, but my father jealously guards such secrets. All that I can say is that Sydon named his children after his lost siblings as some sort of final insult or so he says.

Euryale - The Cursed One

"You, Cursed One, whose veins run black with the foulest of hexes, and whose punishments are disproportionate to their crimes. A lesser creature than you would have been reduced to an unthinking beast. But you, you overcame. We have more in common than you may realise."

Question: Where can I find the power to undo the will of a Titan, to lift the curse of Lutheria which has followed me through long centuries?"

I see that you must travel to the City of the Dead, there you must speak with the silent guardian that watches over all of Telamok. He shall reveal the nature of your curse, for he was there when the curse was placed upon your blood."

I knew your grandmother, you know? Tersephoni, a fierce mortal and a beautiful soul. Now, allow me to gift you something of hers - a memento that I know she would wish for you to have far more than I.

Tryntia - The Vanished One

Versi will treat the Vanished One differently than the other heroes. She will ask to speak to this particular hero privately in her cave, where she will remind them that they must return to her when the Great Labors have been completed. My heart, the fates are cruel indeed to rip us apart so quickly after you have come to my rescue. Before I speak to you of your great destiny, I would ask you to swear an Oath to me, here and now, that once you have accomplished your fate and prevent the Doom of Thylea... that you will return to me. And let our hearts forever sing as one. "I always had such a 'soft spot' for mortals... but I had no idea what it meant to love, not truly, before I laid eyes upon you Tryntia. I shall speak now of your fate: you are destined to see your order rise once more - I see you, once more wearing your famed armour and crown. You must retake them. Seek them out in the Necropolis at Telamok. Old friends wait for you there."

Question: "Unintelligible"

“A single tear falls down from the oracles eye” Yes...you will see him again.

Selene - The Demigod

"You are a beauteous thing you, but a flower cannot bloom if its stem wilts. So too must you, to see your destiny through, go to your divine parent, Pythor, now King of Estoria. He wallows in his wine and his grief, long having lost the luster of his glory days. You shall forge the weapon he could never wield, defeat his ancient foe, and save his true love, your mother. In doing so, you shall walk a path that would allow you to outshine your father in heroism, and perhaps even join him in godhood."

Question: "Is my mother still alive?"

"Your mother is alive, surrounded by jealousy, She abides, somewhere in the Forgotten Sea, Guarded by Pythor's mortal enemy"

Having lost their mounts, the Dragonlords commissioned a fleet of warships and took to the seas. The greatest of these ships was called the Ultros, captained by one Estor Arkelander. He is said to have sailed into the very depths of the underworld where Lutheria sleeps upon her diamond throne. The other Dragonlords are said to have ascended Phraxys, the Tower of Sydon, where the Lord of Storms watches all. Many songs are sung of the trials and troubles of the Dragonlords, but few can say what actually transpired during their final journey into the perils of the Forgotten Sea.

The priests of Mytros watched for signs of the impending apocalypse. On the night of the winter solstice, when Thylea’s doom seemed near, the boiling seas suddenly calmed and the nightmares ended. Some days later, a black ship sailed into the harbor of Mytros, carrying the bodies of many of the Dragonlords. The ship was captained by Damon, a powerful wizard who had served the Dragonlords during the First War. He was mortally wounded, but he uttered not a single word. He delivered three precious items to the Temple of the Five, and then vanished in his ship, along with the bodies and arms of his fallen masters.

One of the items that Damon carried was a scroll of parchment, upon which was written the Oath of Peace. This Oath was cause for great celebration. Sydon and Lutheria had sworn not to take vengeance upon the mortals of Thylea for a period of 500 years, provided that daily sacrifices to the Titans should resume, and that their temples should be maintained and honored.

The centaurs of the Steppes are a nomadic people divided into dozens of warring tribes. They move through the hills in thunderous stampedes, hunting, foraging, and raiding the camps of other peoples. Centaurs hold themselves to a strict code of honor, and the children of warriors slain in battle are adopted and raised as part of the conquering tribe. During times of truce, the centaur tribes set up camps along the steppe rivers, drink honeymeade under the stars, and sing tales of ancient Thylea.

Orrin  had a way with words and his leadership brought much support to the Dragonlord's side when they first came to Thylea. His most notable achievement was his walking into the settlement that is now The City of Mytros and simply convincing them to join on their side of the war.

He was also the author of several of the books and plays that describe the time of the first war

The Mithral Forge was a key component of the victory of the The Order of the Dragonlords over the armies of the The Ancient Titans.

The Dragonlords discovered this deposit of mithril and adamantine in the central mountain range of the new continent. For more than a decade, the mithral and adamantine was mined and used to forge weapons, armour, and magical artifacts for the mortal armies. The Titan, Lutheria, decided that something had to be done about the mine.

Lutheria unleashed a a terrifying cerberus hound to destroy the forge and slaughter the miners. After driving them out, the cerberus hound made a lair in the mines and began to spawn hundreds of death dogs. The Dragonlords tried to retake the forge, but they were repeatedly driven back until they were forced to abandon it entirely. For several centuries the hound watched over the ruined forge.

The storm relented. Light broke through the clouds, spilling down onto the marble pediments and wet paving stones of the city. Dazed citizens beginning to emerge from their homes. Before long, the silence that came after the storm is replaced by a wave of sound as thousands of citizens started clapping and cheering.  Cries of  “The Heroes of Thylea!”, “The Chosen Oness” and “Peacebringerrsss!” could be heard. As The Heroes of Thylea and the Gods recovered there was a wooshing noise, King Acastus riding Icarus in the sky, surveying his domain. The Dragon roared and headed back to the castle. Everyone helped each other on their feet, Talieus taking the opportunity to explain how he thinks the New Dragonlords are a force for good to Tryntia. She told him that her ire was not directed to him but againt King Acastus, the descendant of Estor Arkelander.

The chosen ones headed back to the King, where they were praised and given a map leading to the legendary Ultros as a reward. The party raised some concerns that some of his closest advisors were allied with the Titans but the King explaiened how important to peace was keeping a balance between all the factions in the city. The King showcased a keen understanding of what makes people tick. However while he spoke he revealed that the Ultros was captained by bandits which rang false to the heroes. They kept quiet about it but it was noted. As he finished his speech he dismissed the heroes and wished them well on their journey out of his city. As the heroes were leaving they were intercepted by the Queen's bodyguard Makhaira who informed them that the Queen wished to speak to them. The heroes promised they  would but set to securing lodgings first. Taran, a powerful noble descended from Adonis Neurdagon himself offered his house to them for no cost. While his guards seemed similar to the soldiers that served the Temple of Sydon, his hospitality was impecable and they were invited to a feast in their honour. Before this was done however, Praxos called a team meeting, to discuss the heroes next steps. Much talk was had, around the reappearance of Dragons and all the events they had seen so far.

After this talk they headed to meet Queen Vallus. They saw the Queen being extremely busy, tending to the administration needed to rebuild the city. She warned them not to trust her husband and suspected him sending them to the Ultros was expected to end in their death. He was not always such a paranoid man but she admitted that he had trouble sleeping and seemed distrubed by something. She does not know from where he obtained Dragons All that withstanding, she admited that the ship needed to be rercovered if the heroes wanted to venture to the sea. To that end, she asked the heroes to come straight to her when they retrieved the ship as if the public was made aware that it was THEY who reclaimed the King would have to honour that and not claim The Ultros for himself. Additinally, the Queen asked them to do anything they could to help the city and spread the word of the five. The ritual that they cast to dispell the storm had left all of them euxhasted. Things like damaging the reputatyion of the Titans temples or looking into the flooded sewers would all help.

In the end she revealed information that could help the heroes such as the location of one of the old flying fortressess of The Order of the Dragonlords which could be found in the Garden of Unknown. She said that while he thinks himself as a god he is a vain and foolish creature. The garden of Helios is found under the constellation of the chariot with the heart tree being under the constellation of the heart. Finally she warned them to beware Sydons and Lutherias children, known as the The New Titans.

The heroes then went to The Academy of Mytros where they engaged in debate and sought knowledge. Their day ended in the feast at Tarans where they were asked to elimintae Unknown for a large monetrary amount and perhaps future funding of their expedition. He explaiend that her activities were extremely damaging to the cities prosperity and slowed down the rebuilding needed to be done. Sullas, Tarans song tried to use the heroes influence to secure an audience with Vallus who he wanted to seduce but when that did not appear achiavable he asked Euryale out. To everyones suprise she agreed and they would meet at the great gardens on the morrow.

In essense they now need to discredit the temples of the twins; fix the sewers; reclaim the Ultros; romance Sullas; travel to the heart tree; find the garden of helios; find the dragonlords’ flying fortress; deal with the lady of coins for Taran; find the island of Helona; head back to the island of Themis; find the lotus witch; find the seers; defeat or reason with the twin titans, and probably a lot more.

The wars between The Kingdom of Mytros and The Kingdom of Aresia have been frequent. The two cities have been engaged in dozens of wars over the last several hundred years, which are collectively known as the Aresian campaigns. Several times the army of Mytros, supported by their excellent navy has been able to breach into the Aresian country land, wreaking havoc and nearing victory. But that victory never comes due to Aresias powerful defences.

First to be mentioned are its walls, taller and grander than any other in the land, with eyewitness accounts claiming they are over thirty-five meters in height. What's more, they are enchanted, seemingly being able to shrug off damage and defeat any attempt at climbing them. It is said that Mytros herself gave the Aresian's this blessing as they were I'm danger of being wiped out in the early ages by Gygan war parties. This was before any hostilities between the two great kingdoms had started and even before the first war had truly started.

The blessing was in the form of a sacred object - called the  Palladium. Any discussion of Aresian's defences would not be complete without mentioning Talos. A massive bronze colossus, rivalling the Colossus Of Pythor in size that can not only move independently but is a sentient creature.
