Following the Great Stalemate, Fabrizio plotted for a way to dislodge the gathering Royal Army of Aregis forces.
Eyeing the old Castillo Valanga, which was occupied by old rival Rinaldo di Bari, he figured that if it could be taken, its position near the Principe Peaks could make it act like a perfect staging ground for attacks from the hills. He thus named the mission Operation Avalanche. From his available lieutenants, three volunteers stepped forward: the mighty Brulf, the deadly Argus, and the powerful Thaneus.
The trio managed to infiltrate the Castillo through a small stream that led back to the well. Utilizing a bottle that emitted a powerful arcane smoke, the three managed to sneak inside the main keep, where they released two prisoners, slew Rinaldo di Bari, and took possession of the battle plans laid out there.
Finally, complimenting the smoke with vicious sword strikes, spells and arrows, the party managed to subdue the rest of the garrison until reinforcements arrived through the main gate.
Castillo Valanga had fallen.
