After a bloody civil war of 4 years, the Dorion province manages to grasp independence out from under Dorwin rule.
Cause of the Conflict
Dorwin has always had a strong undercurrent of racial supremacy in its population. This solidified about 300 years ago with the official institution of the Holy Church of the One as the leading state religion.
Given that Dorion had effectively been a penal province since its integration into Dorwin in ~100 5E, some would argue that a war for independence was only a matter of time.
However, due to increasingly brutal methods of control, Dorwin managed to hang onto the province until 622, when a bloody 4-year war led to the province's eventual independence.
