After some downtime, the party gathered in the northern Capital and set out towards the Hunting Grounds on the 13th of Suntide. It was not long until they were approached by Teztudamé, who told them that she was here to 'greet an old friend'. Unexpectedly, Draconiz appeared, his massive form blocking the sun, which prompted her in a fit of anger to transform and engage him in combat. Before she could reach him, he roared with such might it created a sonic boom, and both Teztudamé and the party faded out of the Material Plane. They emerged on a small rock flying at incredible speed through the Elemental Plane of Earth where the green one immediately abandoned them, and they fought an earth elemental.
Devinn got tossed off as the rock went down, and the party appeared at different locations within the heart of a mountain-like structure. It was a hive of kruthiks, and in the center was a glowing crystal. During the skirmish, Zephyr was killed. However Devinn expended the ring of minor wishes to rejuvenate the party, and they were able to just barely make out the fight alive, fleeing towards the center from the approaching flail snail. Mordus touching the crystalline structure in the center, he was empowered by Draconiz, and the party re-emerged on the Material Plane, alongside Teztudamé, albeit right in the middle of a bandit camp, and the inhabitants immediately set upon them after Teztudamé had simply shrugged and abandoned them.
The bandits were, however, easily dispatched as Mordus used his new powers. The party looted the camp, finding a lot of interesting trinkets, one of which was a bottle of spirits labeled Chateau Hyri. Learning that they were not far from the Ceserron Ranch, they went there to get a night's rest. Here they met Mitheon Ceserron, as well as Kharis looking, unlike his usual self.
