Short summary:

Saorie Tylmae spearheaded an expedition to recover the new novel from reknown fanfic-author and former forest villain Woods Dimpletwinkle (met and thwarted in Arbor Day). After doing so, the party got a clue of a city lost in time and space. A place only reachable through planar travel. Which, of course, the group had to find. With the help of their eccentric guide, they found a portal of sorts that traversed a dark void where the city lied, in constant flux. The party befriended some locals and discovered a way to bring the whole city back: finding each of the The Rainbow Knights [Players] and remind them where to find it.

FULL REPORT

"Weeks ago, a competent team was assembled to retrieve an art piece from a local. Woods Dimpletwinkle was her name, and it had written a sizeable novel to be published by First Landing's journalist association: The Scry. I, avid reader and fiction enthusiast, cannot still understand the fascination with this writer figure. Although I commend the effort she spent writing a tome containing more than 37 chapters of pure drama, I must admit the quality was mediocre at best just fine. To our surprise, a rival writer showed up and threatened to take the book by force. In the name of the art form we had, as it's expected, to dispatch it. A swift victory, we then took the chance to chat with Woods Dimpletwinkle and she revealed an intriguing truth about this World: somewhere in the Unexplored Continent a city was "lost".

This city was named "The Last" and, after some unknown calamity, was transported by magic to an unknown place in the planar chaos. Legends told it was still drifting aimlessly after all these years. Aided by the fey, we found a doorway and began a daring delve into the In-Between. A disorienting trip. We struggled to keep pace with our guide, and ended up stranded in a strange facility; a collection of chambers filled with viscera and torn out organic remains. We encountered a group of intelligent crab-like aberrations of unknown origin. They were collectors of sorts, and methodical, by their behavior both in that macabre workshop and in combat. Yes, we dispatched that threat too. We harvested the result of their occult rituals and left with fascinating gifts. These artifacts will require more study.

Upon exit, we found ourselves finally at the city lost. Quite fascinating how a society can survive this long to a traumatic event like a city-wide planar travel and imprisonment. At first glance, and after our interactions with the locals, they seem content. Fey are really malleable individuals, quite adaptive despite their unpredictability. Nevertheless, we split and went our separate ways with the goal of finding a clue to how to bring the city back to the Material Plane.

Passing fairly unnoticed by the townsfolk, we spent days researching. While most my companions took to the streets in search for answers, I went investigate to the library and met a portion of the Orange Knight. It turned out The Rainbow Knights [Players] (a mystical order of fey champions) is intrinsically connected to this city and were involved in their disappearance, for unknown reasons. The key to reverting the sorcery will be finding each of the colored knights and remind them of the city's location. A location pinpointed by our companion Tarah Nirimaya, whose cartography skills were key to triangulate it and record it on a map. Also, Russ'Ruk's doll is definitely cursed.

We also met the Black Knight, who was quite strange.

And with that, after a few more days to gather our notes and enjoy a pleasant stay, we travelled back to the mundane plane. The city remains lost, but not for long... hopefully."
