Adriana is the daughter of two Indian immigrants to Texas in the United States. Her birth is mysterious, because her parents were unable to conceive a child, and prayed for the gods, the Devá to grant them a miracle, or to guide them to adopt a child. A miracle has happened, Adriana was born.
She was indeed a gift from the Devá, but not from Parvati or Durga, instead from Kali, the Dark Mother, because she has bigger plans that demands a Scion to fulfill. What are her plans? only time will tell.
Adriana grew as a rebel, and always impetuous and confrontational, like having a fire inside her heart. When turned 18 she roamed the streets of America in her bike, and participated in a biker gang.
Her parents moved recently to Chicago, and she decided to visit them. Fate was moving its gears to put Adriana at the crossroads of another pre-visitation Scions, the people she would help and bind her Fate with them.
Book 1: The World Awakens
Adriana is a distant friend of Kanako Sakai, meeting between her travels, and decided to help her providing muscle and protection against the gang that assaulted their HQ. She helped investigate the kidnapping of Kanako's mother, and to discover more about the gang wars in the city of Chicago.
Unfortunately, her mother was admitted to a local hospital because of mysterious circumstances that caused put her in danger of dying. Her father said they needed to tell something to her, a big secret they kept from her. She leaved temporarily the Band to be with her parents.
