Session 84

Sirona cries and hugs Zander, asking him about the family while blatantly trying to avoid answering any of his questions about what happened to her. Going over the letters she received, there's one from a high-up priest in St: Cora, two from Noble houses and one without a return to the sender address, but with a very familiar penmanship. She immediately recognises Ilgron's handwriting and has a full-on panic attack. She blacks out and wakes up on the floor, surrounded by two students and Thunda, who ask what the postman has done. She quickly tells them that Zander is her brother and not to blame. Thunda allows the brother to stay at the school in the dorms and gives Sirona some homemade dwarven bread. She bites into it, discovering that she will never have another. The bread has the consistency of all crust and a dominant beer flavour, not to mention that it removes all moisture from her mouth. Sirona politely thanks for the bread and leads her brother to the dorm hoping to find her friends there. On the way, she opens the letter from ST: Cora and the Noble families. All three have sent her maps and direction to Raven hill's farm, but Zander still claims the achievement of finding her, even after learning that she only yesterday ran into Uncle Morbrant.
In the dark basement, the rest of the group is about to let Ertherin rest. Morbrant has found several bottles of liquor that he hands out. Adrian immediately rejects some of them as expired or actual cooking sherry but finds some he is happy to drink. Then, as he realises it might have been a bad idea to let Sirona wander off, Adrian asks Arcus to track her. The group is led to the dorms, where Sirona explains to Zander that she's been seeing a boy called Adrian. The brother immediately starts asking Adrian many questions trying to figure out what kind of man he is.
Meanwhile, Sirona introduces her brother and friends to each other and offers the others to try the dwarven bread. L happily and excitedly says she wants to try it, but just like Sirona, she finds the bread to be a massive disappointment to the point where she only has one bite before putting the bread on the floor and giving it a disapproving stare. Finally, as the group learns that Siroan fainted in the library, the third-degree interrogation shifts to her, and she escapes into the bathroom, where she reads Illgron's letter.
In the meantime, Irdien gets a magical message from her mother thanking her for the money but emphasising that she misses her children and would rather for them to return home than have access to servants. Irdien answers that she can't right now. Illgron's letter is a veiled threat that her family will be in excruciating pain should she not return to the mansion post haste. She exits the bathroom shooked and shaken, telling her friend that she must leave and shows the letter. The group instantly rush to her side to comfort and offer support. Adrian also provides a long string of insults and curses along with detailed descriptions of what he plans to do to Ilgron that is muffled out as Irdien covers his mouth with her hand. Morbrant and Zander start getting confirmation of their suspicions that the place Sirona's been for 14 years could have been a better place, especially as they hear Adrian's muffled voice mention the Diabolist
