Aasimar, also called Godtouched, are Beldkind who have some sort of “active” celestial blood. Most people have some degree of dormant celestial blood, and if the blood is active, they are called an aasimar. This can mean that celestial blood can take five generations to manifest, and that two humans can have an aasimar child. Alternatively, an Aasimar may be born through the direct intervention of a God, though it is almost unheard of for any God except Beld to create Aasimar in this way. The birth of an aasimar is generally seen as a positive omen. They are highly variable in appearance, but generally are uncommonly beautiful and graceful in their movements. Their individual features will largely depend on their heritage. They are also generally more magically attuned than other races due to their heritage. They are also generally very tall, standing at roughly seven feet tall on average.
Aasimar generally come of age at 18 and will usually live to be 160.
