Golden Eyes are a physical characteristic associated with the ancient Deshenite Kingdom. Deshen, Abuleth, and Canoron all possessed golden eyes, as did many of their descendants. The Mannic peoples as a whole were golden-eyed and graceful, though over time this gold faded into the many colors now seen in eyes today. The intensity of the gold varies by eye color, but to have golden eyes means stronger lineage to the ancient Mannic peoples.
The majority of the Kardunashi and Meradareen people possess golden eyes, which is believed by scholars to be due to their city's ancient and unbroken history.
