Mannic, also called the Old Tongue (not to be confused with Celestial), was the first mortal language and was used in the Deshenite Kingdom. It fell out of use following the Fall of the Kingdom of Mankind.
In Mannic, the word for Mannic is Mannu, "𒈠𒉡" meaning "Man-speech."
Mannic came about spontaneously with the birth of Deshen, however the language lacked writing. It was here when the Nephilim scholar K'Thar-den A'zal Go-qeen Ogurru-qroqt Q'Dag (remembered by history as K'thar).
