Pelegon V Odios Pelegon, also called Pelegon the Unifier, was the fourteenth Shahanshah. Pelegon V came to power following the end of the Years of Blood and Iron. After the death of his father, Beldoran Pelegon, he inherited his father's claim to the Golden Falcon Throne. Pelegon V reigned for seven years before his sudden death of illness in V 209. As sole ruler Pelegon V was an earnest and just administrator, who liked to boast that his reign had been "boring" compared to the eventful (and ruinous) reigns of his predecessors. Pelegon V was a devoted monarch who attempted to ease lingering tensions of the Years of Blood and Iron. Upon his death, he was succeeded by his sister, Odis I as he had not borne any children.
