Adrastus I Odios Pelegon, also called Good Shah Adrastus and Adrastus the Good, was the 15th Shahanshah. He was a good-hearted and just ruler, a patron of the arts and noted philosopher and scientist. He inherited and continued his father's era of sustained peace.

As a young man, he had studied at the House of Wisdom with the Order of the Magi and was noted to have "all the qualities of a magus, if only he had not been heir to an Empire." He achieved the rank of scholar before leaving the order, his three subjects of study being astronomy, economics, and medicine. When he ascended to the Golden Falcon Throne, he did not wear a crown, instead donning a scholar's hat made in the colors of the House Imperial as a signifier of his learned status.
