Dwarves are stocky creatures of proud traditions. They generally keep to their mountain homes or hill homes, digging deep into the earth to sate their love of precious minerals.
Dwarves can be found adventuring usually for glory, for honor, or most usually, for gold. Most dwarves encountered outside of the ancestral homes in the mountains of Fusalis fall into these categories. Other disgraces dwarves may work as mercenaries, of even less favorable positions.
This is all, of course, stereotype. Dwarves, as much as they are loathed to admit it, are just as capable of diversity as any other race. They are just on a whole, way more stubborn.
