The Cave of Eternity is a sacred location for the worshipers of Patalir, as it is where the physical body of the goddess is enshrined, deep within a permanent chrysalis of ice. Many members of the Frozen Priesthood makes pilgrimages to the Cave of Eternity in order to gaze upon their god in hopes of finding a deeper understanding.
A large temple sits beneath the cave on its mountain, serving as the seat of power for the Frozen Priesthood and a barrier of protection for those that might seek to harm Patalir.
