The Arterax is a giant keep located deep in the heart of the Nightspell Marches. The headquarters of the Warriors Guild, it stands as a monument against its savage environment, acting as a safe haven for those who would seek to fight the evils of the swamps. It is commanded by Vacklash, and led by the leader of the Warriors Guild, Sanguinity.
Before his defeat, one of the keep's primary purposes was to cull the forces of Zahast the Vilespawn. Enraged by the presence of Haradumeir, Zahast eventually laid siege to the keep, claiming it for himself.
