A wondrous item.
A somewhat mundane looking chest made of a light, dried wood and plain iron bindings. It has a loop that can be used to lock it. The chest is about 2 feet long by 3.5 feet wide.
Effect
The inside of the chest is far larger than the outside, containing a ladder that extends down into the middle of a decently sized room, about 12 feet by 10 feet, and around 10 feet high. The floor, walls and ceiling all seem to resemble the outward appearance of the chest.
Despite how much is placed in the chest, it always seems to weigh around 50 pounds. It can hold a volume of 1200 cubic feet, or up to 2000 pounds. If these limits are exceeded, the chest will void all of its contents out through its mouth immediately.
If an item such as a bag of holding that creates an extra-dimensional space enters the Roomy Chest, both objects will be destroyed, immediately opening a portal to the Astral Plane.
History
The chest was given to the party by Razodon Goswin, supposedly holding the Peas' payment for delivering the Sallow Stone to Deowyn Centhos. However, when the magical lock keeping it shut was unlocked, there was only a note to Deowyn in the chest, telling him to pay the party instead.
