Advar Birchkiller was a dwarf that ran Advar's Tavern in Tevari Port Town. He was a stern dwarf that ran his bar commandingly. He was married to Lyria Hwindelwen.
Advar ran a challenge in his tavern called the Donkey Shit Challenge. While a joke in general, he had immense respect and admiration for those that completed it. As such, he was a great fan of Leadbelly Fargus.
Advar supplied drinks for the party upon their arrival in Tevari, and accepted a gold coin from Eugene Wormtail in exchange for the rest of his rooms. He conducted the Donkey Shit Challenge with both Leadbelly and Grognock, but only the former was able to stomach it. He then insisted that the local Kerimtin be summoned in order to immortalize Leadbelly's likeness on his tavern wall. Talking with Leadbelly, he informed the dwarf that he saw a young dwarf pass through a few months ago, but couldn't be sure it was Leadbelly's son, as he never got his name.
Upon the completion of Leadbelly's portrait, Advar was very pleased. He later informed Leadbelly about the dwarven presence in the city of Vardev.
Following the destruction of Tevari Port Town, Advar decided to remain behind to help others escape. Phaelnah Ellarian attempted to scry on Advar, but the scrying was unsuccessful, leading her to believe he had passed away.
