Father Jyle was the archpriest of a temple of Fectovarano located in the Inner Ring of Sanar. He was the foremost expert on demons in Sanaris before his passing in 982 IaC.
In Iron 951, Father Jyle was visited by the Peas in order to learn how to properly dispose of the Bottle Demon, but they found Jyle unable to respond. He had been taken by senility in his old age, but was able to temporarily revive his keen mind through consuming a strange paste concocted by Pearcey Velohe. Jyle informed the adventuring party about Godsreach, and implored them to seek the strength of their faith to destroy the demon once and for all.
Jyle passed away in the winter of Iron 959 from old age. His work and knowledge was succeeded by his apprentice Pearcey.
