Bierd Volum is a human guard that works the gate to the Estates in Madrioc. He is highly protective of the residents of the Estates, and is loathed to allow undesirables into the exclusive gated community.
Volum is a short and trim man with carefully manicured hair and a clean shaven face. He wears a permanent scowl.
Volum encountered the Peas during their visit to Razodon Goswin, disliking them immediately for their tattered clothes. Grognock left a pea on the ground after Volum specifically told the group he would seek retribution if they left even a speck of dust.
On the group's return from their meeting, Volum had contacted the guards, demanding that they arrest Grognock.
