Mange is a foul-smelling, mangy dog that was found by Seamus McHammerface in the woods to the east of Vardev. Seamus took a liking to the dog and adopted him. Most people react to the dog with disgust or disdain.

Description

Mange is constantly drooling through his jagged, misaligned teeth. His lanky body constantly shakes, and his head bobs around randomly. His light fur generally appears dark brown due to the dirt he accumulates.

Mange is usually constantly attached to Seamus, and enjoys following him and licking his boots. He will generally attempt to eat anything that is on the floor and smaller than his mouth.

Skills and Abilities

Mange produces a seemingly endless amount of drool and filth.

Seamus has successfully managed to get Mange to understand the command "stay" for at least a brief period. He is currently working on "sit".

History

Mange was found by Seamus wandering the forests to the east of Vardev. The dog immediately took a liking to the half elf, and has not left his side ever since, must to the chagrin of the rest of the party. Phaelnah in particular noted her distaste of the dog's lack of hygiene and foul odor. Despite this, Seamus was committed to keeping the dog, who miraculously survived the crashing of a wagon and managed to stay alive during the Peas' confrontation with Arghan.

Mange was cleaned once by the staff of the Ess in Whort, but they couldn't fix his face.

Quiet took a liking to Mange when the Peas first visited Rest Assured.

Mange slept soundly by the fire during the Siege of Caedalir, not even stirring after a giant explosion. After the battle, Mange attempted to lick Seamus' many open wounds.

Mange ran off from the party when they entered the mountain pass in Taerin Ucarin, and became lost to the party. Seamus believes he will return, as always.
