Duc Archein Von Drekkenov is the vampire resident of the now emptied Mystra's Library. He passes his time creating elaborate magical toys, which are traded to the Daggerfolk in exchange for peace and friendship. Like the other vampires of Galadhor, he is cursed by undeath after a pact made with a powerful demon in the lower planes. Since Mote's failed attempt to recover their contract, the vampires and the Daggerfolk have mostly left one another in an uneasy peace.
