Recent History: Breaking away from the Empire and encouraging Fuk’mar to join them in open defiance. The City-state of Ja’Pa celebrates the King of the Gods, Jak’ra, in the Ja'Pari Church of Jak’ra. It is here the presence of the Order of Dark Paladins is felt most weakest and religious freedom is embraced most strongly by the masses. The city is protected by the Ja'Pa Volunteer Militia
General Description: The city-state sits on the tropical west coast of the New World, where it’s small harbour grants it some access to the larger seas. Generally the Trolls found in Ja’Pa prefer to remain landlocked, which has resulted in the opening of trade routes deep into The Beastfolk Heartlands. The city’s ever increasing population requires ever more land, resources and territory, this now strains the city borders to near bursting.
Troll Empire: The Empire’s grip is the loosest on Ja’Pa of all its vassal states. Beyond the effective reach of the Legions, it is granted free rein and protected from the worst pirates by the Imperial Navy patrols which cover most of Oerth’s seas.
The City State of Fuk'Mar: Despite the two of them encouraging each other to seek independence, Ja’Pa and Fuk’mar are largely polar opposites. A far more progressive nation than its highly dogmatic neighbour, Ja’Pa thrives on its interactions with other races while Fuk’mar drives other races away, which has put a wedge between the two nations in recent years. These differences have further increased the population of the Ja’Pa state and now it stands on the edge of expansion.
The region imports magical texts and spells, but exports little other than Cinnamon as it's expansion consumed the majority of the goods it produces.
