Government

The Republic of Sollabring is a powerful organization with final say when it comes to the decisions of the nation. They are an insightful organization with representatives from each racial sect of the nation. The representatives have been elected into office and serve for a decade. A raise obtains a representative if their population percentage is a minimum of 5%.

The election that arises every decade is a commonly publicized event that spans it’s influence globally.

Sollabring is a smaller nation housing roughly 325,000 recognized citizens with around 100,000 unrecognized inhabitants of the nation. 

The emphasis of culture is important for the people of Sollabring. They wear elaborate garments with gold jewelry and silk scarves. The climate allows for comfortable heat leading to loose and airy wear accompanying the weight of the jewelry. Deep blues and reds are commonly seen as the main attire.

Economy

Sollabring doubles as the importing and exporting capital of the world. While they do produce and export their own spices, technology, and amenities, the country offers out it’s ships to allow other nations to export their goods at speeds similar to their own. 

The country also has one of the most prestigious architecture academies in the world. Graduates from this academy are constantly contracted out around the world spreading the architectural achievements of Sollabring. 

The population is also considered to be one of the most diverse “melting pots” in the world. It is not considered strange to see powerful business executives be of varying races. 

History

Prior to being its own nation, Sollabring was a region under the kingdom of Shuria. Under this influence the people never sought out change or collaboration. The people were not unhappy, just barely content with their existence. 

When the war between Shuria and The Final Empire broke out Sollabring was captured and vassalized under the Empire. The Final Empire allowed more freedom amongst the people and the minds of Sollabring began to flourish in terms of advancement. 

Content with what The Final Empire produced, Sollabring was freed from its vassalage and allowed to stand on its own, creating a country with the wealthiest capita per person.

Military

Sollabring’s government does not have a standing army. Instead, the country elects to utilize free merchant private armies. These armies are typically composed of well trained individuals excelling in artifice and ranged combat. 

One of the most notable forces in the Free Merchant Private armies is Urian Yates’ Air Sails. This group, almost exclusively hired out by the republic, is an elite air force that specializes in blitz based combat while supporting ground units.
