Bludak Mal K'shaar

Orc Cleric
Player Character

Bludak Mal K'shaar, translated as Bludak of the River Wolves (or Wolves of the River) a tribe of the Ghaash’kala, servants of the silver flame (Which the orcs call Kalok Shash, the ‘binding flame’). A group of orcs who have dedicated their existence for generations to battling the fiends of the demon wastes.

Bludak has only ever known fighting, survival and tribe in order to prevent Khorvaire being overrun by demons as has been the lot of his people since time immemorial. From childhood Bludak has had prophetic dreams and visions directing himself and clan to numerous victories in this endless struggle. He has even had visions of Tira Miron herself, the paladin who sacrificed herself to bind a great demon thus beginning the Silver Flame.

In the last two years Bludak, through his visions left the demon wastes to travel to Thrane, the seat of the silver flame, to seek guidance from the clergy. He met with Jaela Daran who saw the gift of divine providence within Bludak. She directed him to Karrnath where she sensed the people are suffering, not only through the multitude of undead resident there but also through acts of terror committed by disparate political groups. Bludak gladly submitted to the will of the saintly child as he had already dedicated his every sinew to the protection of the weak and innocent and vanquishing any evil which threatens their safety. He is also intrigued about the military schools of Karrnath who’s reputation has spread throughout Khorvaire.

His skill as a warrior is partly through brute strength but also years of bitter combat against the demon hoards. His wisdom comes through living in the wilds and dealing with tribal infighting when it occurs, his senses are acutely tuned to his surroundings.

It has been over a year since he left his desolate homeland as he approaches Karrnath. The people of the 'civilised' nations find his coarse nature somewhat unnerving as well as the fact he is one of few words, preferring action. Far from dim-witted he is rather unaccustomed to the logic and ways of the populace nations of Khorvaire although he is gradually adapting after his first year in such societies.
